Vaporwave fashion is a unique kind of clothing. Its the kind of clothing that makes people stop and stare for a while. Its like a glare into nostalgia, whether you've "experienced" it, or not; chances are, it'll hit you the same way as it hits everyone else.
Vaporwave in itself is like a blast into the 1980s, or early 2000s. Its what people thought the future of back then ( basically, today) would be like. Vaporwave is like a mother genre in the "Aesthetic" topic. Within vaporwave, there's even more subgenres, like "Synthwave, Chillwave, Jazzwave, Future funk," and the list goes on and on really.
A lot of our vaporwave clothing includes vibes of the past's idea of the future. Back then, today was expected to be full of chrome plated cars. Chrome shiny robots, shiny metal shoes, flying cars, and etc. If you look around, you'll notice that there's barely any of that actually here yet, but that's also what makes the aesthetic what it is. The creative, idealistic, motivated, and exciting hopes of the future. Now we may not have any of that yet, but that doesn't mean that we won't achieve it.
This is really a reason why we think vaporwave fashion is so cool and nostalgic to look at. It reflects the simplistic times of the early "future," while also giving off relaxing energy that's just so smooth and even hard to explain at times.
